Wolves signed promising Newcastle United striker Sean Neave on a season-long loan late on deadline day.
The 19-year-old, who has impressed at under-21 level in the north east, is part of the England set-up and, having stepped into first-team football in recent years, now bolsters Cesar Peixoto’s attacking options at Molineux.
Neave joined Newcastle at the age of 13 and progressed through the academy to sign a professional contract in July 2024 and later that season he was eased into Eddie Howe’s squad, being named on the bench as they won the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
Last season his senior debut arrived in the Champions League, as he featured off the bench in a 6-1 win over Qarabag FK, while his Premier League bow arrived on the final day of the season against Fulham.

The youngster made his England under-19 debut in March of this year, while one month later he scored against Wolves under-21s, and now moves to Molineux for a first loan in senior football.
Executive chairman Nathan Shi said: “Sean is a talented player who Cesar and Matt both spoke to and were impressed by, and we believe he has a lot of potential to be successful with us. We are delighted to welcome him to Wolves, and he will have the full support of us all.
“We already have a lot of experience in that department with Raul and Adam, and we think signing a younger profile in Sean complements the group well for what we know will be a long and challenging Championship season.”
Technical director Matt Jackson said: “It was important to get a player of a certain type, who's looking to learn and bring a real hunger and personality to our group. He is very hard-working and a really technical player. His enthusiasm and drive to be a professional is what all young players should have.
“We presented to them, myself and Cesar together, and it’s great to have that support. It shows the buy-in with the recruitment process. I'd like to think that resonated with Sean, his representatives and the senior representatives from Newcastle.
