Ladislav Krejci admitted it was “unacceptable” to concede so many goals in the second half, as Wolves suffered a heavy loss at West Ham United.
The Old Gold had enjoyed a positive first half in the main on Friday night, but conceded moments before the break, and two goals in three second half minutes took the game away from the visitors.
Krejci cut a frustrated figure come full-time and apologised to the fans who travelled to the capital, but says the goals were collective errors that cannot happen at the top level of the game.
On what went wrong on the night
“This is what I want to find the answer to because from the beginning I thought we were the better team, we had more space, I felt we could be better on the ball, but at some moment in the first half we stopped moving and finding the right solutions and let them score from one situation.
“In the second half from our mistakes we give them the chances and it’s unacceptable how many goals we conceded. From our side, we apologise to the fans, not just for this game, but we know our situation and it won’t help us in the table. We could get closer, but we didn’t.”

On a step backwards
“The situations that we created, we gave them the chance to score, from our side. I don’t want to point fingers because we were all there, in those situations, but we cannot do that at this level.”
On a tough task now
“I don’t know because my full focus, and I believe of others in the club, was that this game was the one which could change the whole thing. It didn’t happen, so lets meet again next week and try to find a solution.”
