Gomes voted SUDU Player of the Month

Joao Gomes was voted SUDU Player of the Month at Compton Park this week, following impressive showings in March.

The Brazilian played a key role across the month, starring in the Old Gold’s victory against reigning champions Liverpool at Molineux at the start of March.

Gomes once again featured as Wolves bowed out of the Emirates FA Cup to Liverpool but played his third full 90 minutes of the month against Brentford last time out.

Down in the capital, the 25-year-old helped Wolves fight back from two goals down, providing the assist for Tolu Arokodare’s equaliser which earned Wolves a point.

At Compton Park, Gomes received his award from fellow Brazilian Pedro Lima, before thanking supporters for their votes.
