After becoming the Premier League's breakout star ahead of the new year, Mateus Mane has been voted Wolves’ SUDU Player of the Month for December.
The young forward has taken to life in the Premier League like an experienced pro, as he played a role in all of Wolves’ Premier League fixtures during the month.
Mane also claimed the first assist of his senior career at the Emirates midway through December as he came off the bench to set up Tolu Arokodare to score the Old Gold’s equaliser.
After continuing to shine as a squad option for Rob Edwards, Mane was given his chance from the start against Liverpool at Anfield, as he put in an imposing display during his inaugural 90-minute outing in the top flight.
Mane also showed his versatility during December, as he moved back into a midfield role – and impressed once more – for the visit to Old Trafford as Wolves brought in 2025 with only their third point of the season.
The winger has continued his exciting displays into January, helping Edwards’ side to an unbeaten start to 2026 from their opening three outings of the new year.
