Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has been nominated for the Coca Cola Save of the Month award for September.
The 32-year-old was given the nod between the sticks at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening and produced a stunning stop to deny Mohammed Kudus to help his side to a 1-1 draw.
With the game goalless 15 minutes in, Johnstone superbly tipped a Kudus header from point-blank range onto the underside of the crossbar.
The point was Wolves’ first of the season and Johnstone follows Jose Sa in claiming consecutive Save of the Month nominations, after the Portuguese was acknowledged against Bournemouth in August.
Johnstone is one of six stoppers nominated, with Dean Henderson and Gianluigi Donnarumma also up for the award.
