Sam Johnstone says regardless of who is starting matches, everyone needs to pull in the same direction to start dragging Wolves up the Premier League table.
The goalkeeper returned to the starting line-up for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie with Everton and, having made a series of important saves, helped his side into the next round with a clean sheet.
However, for Wolves, it’s now crucial that positivity is carried into the Premier League, where they remain bottom after five matches, and Johnstone knows the importance of togetherness when trying to form around.
On a good evening’s work
“I’m really pleased. Everyone knows we've been in a tough couple of weeks, so it was good to have this game straight away after the weekend and get a result. It's never going to be easy against Everton and the lads dug in, we made good decisions, and it was a good team performance overall.
“Hopefully it goes into the weekend and brightens things up a little bit, because us more than anyone, we hate losing, and we're trying to put things right. On Tuesday we had a small opportunity to put things right, ready for the Premier League.
“Hopefully we can take that into Saturday, again another tough game, and a win hopefully just boosts us to get a bit of confidence and try to get some results under our belt.”
"I work hard every day and I wait for my opportunity. I loved being out there. We’re all trying to put performances in to try and help each other.”

On the importance of a clean sheet
“They're dangerous, so until you can get a bigger cushion than 1-0, they're always going to create some sort of chances. I wish the second came a bit earlier, but it was a great result.
“It's massive [to keep a clean sheet]. Keep a clean sheet and you've obviously got a great chance of getting three points or minimum one. To be solid at the back and obviously get the win is massive. We obviously train together every day, so no matter who plays, they should come in and do a job.”
On his personal performance
“I work hard every day, and I wait for my opportunity. I've played a lot of games so you can go out there and feel like you're back at it. I love being out there.
“We're all trying to put performances in. People that play have to put performances in, people that are coming in, coming out, everyone's got to put performances in to try and get us up that table. So, we all try and help each other.”
