Marçal: 'I want to make history with Wolves'

Marçal, Wolves’ newest addition to the fold, says he has come to Molineux to ‘create history’ with the club after sealing his dream Premier League move from Lyon.

The Brazilian defender is excited about putting on the gold and black shirt and wants to give his all for the team in the pursuit of silverware this season.

On what he will bring to Wolves

“I am very excited. I want to make history here, I want to win every game, and I want to help my team. This is the reason I came here.

“I will bring experience and a fighting attitude. This is my normal character, and I give my best all over the pitch.

“I am here to give all my energy. In every match, every training session, I will do my best to win the game, win the championship and win the trophies.”

On a dream move to the Premier League

“Firstly, the Premier League for me is the best championship in the world. I think every player wants to play Premier League.

“I am very happy to come and play in this championship and this, for me, is a dream.”

On wearing the special old gold shirt

“Wolves is very special. I follow a lot of the players because I like these players very much. I like Rui Patricio, [Joao] Moutinho, and I followed these players a long time and I will like playing with them.

“Now, everyone knows who Wolves is. In Brazil, everybody talks about this team because we are very strong, and this shirt is beautiful.

“I want to bring it every weekend, every match.”
