Jota hoping to turn draws into wins

Diogo Jota insists his Wolves team mates are always looking at ways they can improve after claiming a draw against Arsenal at the Emirates.

The forward, who helped drive the team forward in the hunt for a winning goal on Saturday afternoon, said that although the team is pleased to have earnt a point against a tough opposition, they are trying hard to turn draws into victories.

On picking up a point against Arsenal

“It was a good game, entertaining for everyone in the stadium and both teams wanted to play attacking football, while having to defend when we needed to.

“It was a game with a lot of chances, opportunities to score, so I think a draw was a fair result in the end.”

On turning draws into wins

“I’m glad that we are scoring and we are drawing tough matches, but of course we want to win.

“We are always thinking about the things we could do better and we need to start winning more games to give us more points.”

On increase in injuries from last season

“Injuries are part of the season, especially when you have a lot of games. Many people are having many minutes, so injuries can happen, we know that.

“We have to adapt and believe in the manager to give us the best solutions.”
