Wolves will face Liverpool at Anfield in their first match after Christmas Day for the second time in the Premier League era on Saturday.
The previous time the two teams went head to head in a festive fixture came on Boxing Day 2009 - Wolves' second Premier League game on the 25th December - as the Reds claimed a 2-0 win in Merseyside.
But since then, the Old Gold have enjoyed quite fruitful Boxing Day results, having won their last three festive fixtures, including a 4-1 win away at Brentford in 2023 and last season's 2-0 home victory against Manchester United.
Wolves were due to be playing Arsenal away in the first game after Christmas in 2021 - which would have been the third time the teams faced each other in a festive fixture since 2003 - but that game was postponed due to a high number of players having tested positive for Covid-19, and was eventually played the following February.
