Dave Edwards and James Bird cast an analytical eye over the end of Vitor Pereira's reign as Old Gold head coach in the latest episode of Wolves Unpacked.
Going on a deep dive into the intricacies of what has gone wrong for Pereira this season, but particularly in his final outing as Wolves boss in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Fulham, with the loss leaving the team rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and without a win so far this season.
In the latest episode of Wolves Unpacked, the pair express their sadness at seeing Pereira - a coach they both admired - unable to turn the disappointing start to the season which led to his departure from the club, as well as reflect on his time as Old Gold head coach.
The former midfielder shares his thoughts on what Wolves now need to do to climb clear of Premier League danger, while offering a player's view inside the dressing room of when he's previously experienced fighting against relegation.
There is also talk of the team needing to rediscover their identity which has been lost in recent months, as well as transfer priorities in January and how the players also need to start standing up and be counted to try and get Wolves out of the situation they currently find themselves in - regardless of the head coach.
All this and more, including a light-hearted look at who might (or might not) be next in the Molineux dugout, can be found on the latest episode of the Official Wolves Podcast: Wolves Unpacked, which is available on all of the usual podcast providers.
