James Collins joins Mikey Burrows in the latest Wolves Weekly summer special episode as the under-21 head coach reflects on another successful season for the development side.
On this week’s episode, Collins discusses his 2022/23 season, which saw the former Crewe Alexandra midfielder guide the under-21s to Premier League 2 Division 1 safety, while spending a few months coaching the first-team.
He spoke about his time in charge of the senior side, alongside Steve Davis, in which he didn't want to miss a chance to give some of his young players their first-team debuts.
In addition to that, under-21 forward Owen Farmer also joined Burrows to talk through his footballing journey to date, which included a release by a midlands rival to training with Julen Lopetegui's squad during the second half of last season.
