Coady makes final England Euro 2020 squad

Conor Coady’s place at Euro 2020 has been confirmed, after he was named in Gareth Southgate’s final 26-man England squad.

The skipper will be the first Wolves man to represent England at a major tournament since Steve Bull at the 1990 World Cup.

He also becomes the seventh man of the current Wolves first-team heading to the summer tournament, joining Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Leander Dendoncker and Adama Traore.

Coady has the chance to add to his four caps this week, as England take on Austria on Wednesday and Romania on Sunday in preparation friendlies.

The full list of friendlies featuring Wolves men is as follows:

  • Wednesday 2nd June | England vs Austria
  • Thursday 3rd June | Belgium vs Greece
  • Friday 4th June | Spain vs Portugal
  • Sunday 6th June | England vs Romania & Belgium vs Croatia
  • Tuesday 8th June | Spain vs Lithuania
