Wolves are set for their first trip to Wembley Stadium in more than 30 years this weekend as they face Tottenham Hotspur at the home of English football.
Thousands of supporters have already snapped up tickets for the 3pm clash in North London – Wolves’ first ever match at the modern stadium and first at Wembley since the Sherpa Van Trophy victory in 1988.
Supporters travelling to the Premier League tie on Saturday 29th December are being urged to enter the stadium early (60 minutes before kick-off) due to new security measures which are operating at Wembley from this week.
This includes the stadium's new bag policy. The maximum size bag security will now allow is an A4 size clutch type bag – rucksacks, laptop bags etc are no longer permitted inside the stadium.
Further information about Wembley’s security policies can be found here.
The turnstiles will open at about 1pm, with Wolves supporters accommodated in the visitors’ sector of the stadium in Blocks 112-118 on Level 1 with access via Turnstile Block C.
Pubs and bars that are designated for visiting fans near Wembley are the Green Man on Dagmar Avenue, which can accommodate up to 3,000 fans, and Crystals bar, which is immediately located by the steps up to the visitors turnstile on the East side of the stadium.
Alcohol will be served in the visitors’ concourse from the stadium opening through to 15 minutes prior to kick-off and again at half-time.
