Douglas Departs For Leeds

Barry Douglas has joined Sky Bet Championship Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.

Douglas leaves Molineux a firm favourite with supporters after an excellent season in old gold helped Wolves clinch the Championship title.

The left-wing back contributed 15 assists and 5 goals in 42 appearances for Wolves, with his fine displays also helping to secure his first senior Scotland cap at the age of 28.

Douglas’ dead ball heroics were lauded throughout the Championship, with perhaps his finest contribution coming in December at Ashton Gate, where a direct free-kick and injury time assist for Ryan Bennett helped Wolves to a memorable comeback.

Everyone at Wolves wishes Barry the greatest success at his new club.
