New Patrons for Wolves DSA

Current & Former Player support Fans' Disabled Association

Since the Wolves Disabled Supporter Association (DSA) was launched in November 2012, with the full endorsement of Wolves management, it has gradually grown into a well-supported group, with a current membership of supporters, sharing a wide range of disabilities, their families, friends and carers. Although the DSA committee and members have a very fruitful partnership with Wolves FC, the DSA remains totally independent of the club. From the outset the priorities of the DSA included developing and maintaining meaningful communication with the club, highlighting and enhancing the experiences of disabled Wolves supporters and promoting friendship across the whole supporter base at Wolves and with other DSAs from the Premier League, EFL and Non-League clubs. Recently through hard work, determination and previous experiences of DSA committee members the DSA has secured substantial funding for social events and for travel costs for Wolves away matches. The following people are the current elected members of the DSA Management committee:

Steve Daniels – Chairman
Lin Corbett– Vice Chair
Graham Lakin-Treasurer
Dennis Green-Secretary
Stuart Alves-Committee Member Aubrey Colley-Committee Member
Sue Colley- Committee Member
Nigel Driver- Committee Member
Rob Grocott- Committee Member
Tony Grocott-Committee Member
Alan Lake-Committee Member
Andy Pike-Committee Member
Guy Weaver-Committee Member
Martyn Willis-Committee

Since the sad passing of our original patron, Baroness Rachael Heyhoe-Flint, the DSA have discussed the appointment of a further patron or patrons. At a previous meeting and after advice from a well-respected DSA from Wrexham FC, it was agreed that we would approach a current player, a former player and one or two celebrity Wolves supporters. Current player Connor Ronan, former Wolves player, and now SKY Sports match reporter and in-studio summariser, Matt Murray have agreed to be patrons, discussions are on-going for a celebrity or celebrities to join Connor and Matt as patrons.

Anyone who wishes to join the DSA or to enquire for more details about the association please do so via Dennis Green, by contacting him at
