Premier League Inspires is a new education programme developed by the Premier League, aimed at children and young people between the ages of 11 and 25. The programme focuses on those who are marginalised or at risk of not reaching their potential as they move through the education system and early adulthood, allowing them to develop personal skills, knowledge and attitudes to succeed in life.
Working in partnership with the Premier League and the Prince’s Trust, Wolves Foundation have developed a programme to engage with secondary schools across the city to provide learners with an alternative classroom experience.
Wolverhampton Wanderers Foundation support secondary schools across the city with opportunities to engage with the programme. Our programme has been developed to work with schools across the academic year where they can pick from a menu of activities prior to the start of the programme which fits with the needs of each student on the programme.
Pasqualino Senese, assistant head at the Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, said: "This programme has inspired our young people to develop knowledge and skills that are transferable to everyday life as well as their future career path.
"At the end of the project, students will have an accredited qualification in Personal Development and Employability Skills with the Princes Trust qualifications."
