Laurie Dalrymple

Managing Director

Laurie joined Wolves in October 2014 as Head of Commercial Affairs, before being promoted to Managing Director in August 2016.

Having completed his degree in 1998 in Business Studies and American Studies at Brunel University, Laurie began his career in one of the biggest media companies in the world – VNU Business Publications. A career in live event management developed quickly from there, with extremely successful periods of employment with ExCeL London and global caterer, Delaware North Companies, during the long and intensive opening of the £800m national stadium – Wembley.

As a sports fanatic, a career in sport was Laurie’s main ambition, and for three and a half years Laurie was the Commercial Director of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, with the operational and commercial responsibility for a large proportion of the venue’s turnover, which comprised of a 130 bedroom De Vere Hotel Facility, an exhibition and conference business, match day catering turnover from the venues football tenant, Coventry City FC and a live events and concert business that hosted worldwide renowned acts such as Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Muse, Pink and Florence and the Machine.
