Wolves signed forward Andreas Weimann in January, 2017, on loan from Derby County to the end of the season.

The 25-year-old Austrian international striker again joined up with Head Coach Paul Lambert, under whom he enjoyed a successful spell with Aston Villa.

Weimann moved to Villa from Rapid Vienna as a 16-year-old, and then progressed through the ranks, along with loan spells at Watford, to play for Villa in the Premier League.

From there he joined Derby County in the summer of 2015, from where he made the loan move to Wolves.

Weimann represented Austria at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels before making his full debut against Kazakhstan in October, 2012, and now totalling 13 caps.

He made an excellent start to life at Wolves, marking his first start with a goal in the 2-1 win at Liverpool in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.
