Wolves players Chris Iwelumo and Matt Jarvis recently presented two specially adapted tricycles for young children with disabilities to Penn Hall School as part of Wolves Aid's ongoing commitment to providing mobility equipment to young people with disabilities.

The donation is a result of a visit that Chairman Steve Morgan made to the school in June.

Whilst visiting to open a new IT block he noted that there were not enough tricycles to go around, prompting him to take action.

The Morgan Foundation funds Wolves Aid, and it was Wolves Aid that donated £1000 to purchase the cycles.

These were then presented to the school by the players as well as Rachel Heyhoe Flint, Trustee for Wolves Aid.

Penn Hall School caters for pupils aged 3-19 with physical or sensory needs and the two cycles will go towards developing their development and mobility.

Chris Iwelumo said, "It was really great to meet the children and see what a difference the new tricycles make", with Matt Jarvis adding, "It was also terrific to see the smiles on their faces as they rode their new tricycles on the playground".

Headteacher Alun Stoll said that the trikes will be shared between the earlier years when they attend on a weekly basis, and thanked Wolves for their contribution.

Wolves Aid, part of the Wolves Community Trust, is the largest charity of its type in football, donating thousands to local Wolverhampton based charities every year.
