A calendar featuring Wolves players who stripped off for a variety of semi-nude poses, has raised £6,900 for Broadmeadows Special Nursery School in West Park, Wolverhampton.

Wolves Aid, the club's official charity, matched the amount which meant the school received £13,800 towards its new sensory gym.

Wolves player Rob Edwards, said: "I'm delighted to represent the calendar boys and hand over the final cheque. The players will be supporting other activities at the school to help them reach their final target."

Headteacher, Karen Warrington, said: "The first stages of the project are very expensive and this donation will help us to create the first detailed plans and apply for planning permission."

Acording to the Football League Trust, Wolves Aid is the biggest club charity of its type in football. It's aim is to make a difference to charities and community groups based in the Wolverhampton area.
