Ticket Priority Scheme Details Announced
Wolves fans joining the Ticket Priority Scheme for the 2010/11 season have an added bonus in addition to the group of fixtures which they receive tickets for - a guaranteed seat for the first ever Black Country Derby at Molineux in the Barclays Premier League.
As with last season, there will be three different TPS groups and each group will include six different opponents - however ALL members are guaranteed a ticket for the seventh bonus home fixture versus West Bromwich Albion.
This will be the first top flight clash with West Bromwich Albion since 1984 and to clarify it will be included in all three TPS groups - TPS1, TPS2 and TPS3.
With match-by-match tickets likely to be in great demand for all Premier League home games, the TPS scheme offers supporters the chance to ensure they see at least seven of the season's top flight fixtures with, in addition to the game with Albion, at least one against the 'Big Four' of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
For a membership fee of £50 for adults and £25 concessions (senior citizens, full time students, juniors under 17 and under 12), which is the same as last season you a guaranteed a seat for 7 designated home Premier League fixtures during season 2010/11.
Tickets are processed and posted out automatically before they are released for sale, with the exception of full time students who must collect their ticket for each game upon production of a valid NUS Extra card.
The relevant match ticket price for every ticket processed is then taken from an agreed credit/debit card based on the price category and band for the allocated stand (please note a booking fee is applied per ticket).
The three TPS groups and nominated games are as follows:
TPS1
TPS2 Liverpool,
TPS3
All existing TPS members will receive renewal information this week offering them the option to renew their current membership.
The deadline for renewals and to be guaranteed a place on one of the schemes is 5pm on Friday July 16.
Supporters wishing to join the scheme for the first time should complete an application form and return it no later than Friday July 16. (Click here for new applicants form along with full FAQ's and terms and conditions).
When applying to join the TPS supporters must indicate their order of preference from the three groups, and they will then be allocated a TPS group based on that preference (once a group becomes oversubscribed the next preference will be allocated). Existing members will receive priority on their group choice over new applicants.
Once supporters have successfully joined one of the TPS groups then there will not be any further need to apply for match tickets for the nominated games within their scheme.
Tickets will be sent out approximately 19 days before each TPS match, and if any member is unable to attend the fixture they will receive a refund on the face value of the ticket (not booking fee) provided it is returned to the Ticket Office a minimum of seven days before the game.
Supporters can also apply to sit together with family and friends up to a maximum of four people.
Each individual supporter must fill out the TPS application form specifying who it is linked to with the forms then returned in the same envelope.
The Ticket Office will then endeavour to sit supporters together although this may not always be possible.
With an average attendance of 28, 320 last season, very few seats were available at Molineux and plenty of games were sold out.
And so becoming a member of the TPS scheme guarantees attendance for at least seven games of next season, including West Bromwich Albion.
