After a disappointing defeat to Chelsea, Wolves are 7/5 favourites to bounce back against fellow strugglers Sunderland this weekend.

The Black Cats were anything but lucky for Steve Bruce this season and the former Birmingham boss parted company with them earlier in the week. They are therefore expected to be managerless for this Sunday clash, despite news of Martin O'Neill's imminent arrival.

Sunderland are priced up at 19/10 as they seek to impress their boss in waiting, with the draw listed at 11/5, but Wolves will be aiming to put a potential honeymoon period on hold.

Mick McCarthy can at least point to a positive record against the visitors of late, having done the double over them last season and recorded victory at Molineux on the final day of 2009/10.

Those recent top flight meetings have certainly produced goals - averaging nearly five per encounter - and you can get evens for Over 2.5 again this time, while four or more pays 14/5. With over two thirds of Wolves games this season including three or more goals, both bets could offer a slice of value.

This week's Sportingbet Podcast takes pause to pay tribute to Gary Speed before offering the usual dose of tips, banter and competitions. Time is running out on the chance to win a £100 Free Bet playing Five for a Ton, but you can still claim a Christmas consolation bet at www.sportingbet.com/podcast.
