Wolves 2 (Rosa 1, Hemmings 19)

West Bromwich Albion 2 (Alliyu 83, 86)

Two late goals from Albion Substitute Lateef Alliyu helped Wolves' Black Country rivals to a share of the points at the Bucks Head last night.

Wolves opened the scoring after just 38 seconds when James Davis crossed for Ashley Hemmings to shoot. The Academy striker's effort was blocked but Denes Rosa was there to pounce on the rebound and notch up his 11th reserve goal in nine appearances.

On 19 minutes, Fabrice Kasiama was denied by a superb save from Albion keeper Gavin Carlin but the Wolves youngster regained possession and crossed for Hemmings to head home.

The hosts continued to enjoy the majority of the attacking play and, shortly after the re-start, could have made it three when David Edwards - back after a groin injury - curled a shot over the bar from the edge of the area.

The Baggies lunched a fight back and forced two good saves from keeper Carl Ikeme before they eventually got on to the score sheet in the 83rd minute. Substitute Alliyo lobbed the ball over Ikeme for his first and then, three minutes later, drove the ball home to secure a share of the points.

Albion's Shelton Martis was sent off near the end for foul and abusive language.
