Nathaniel Mendez-Laing proved a key player in the Youth Team's success at the Gothia Cup in July 2009, proving Wolves' top scorer as the Academy side won the trophy.
He followed this up by appearing as a substitute for the first team in the pre-season friendly at Walsall and starting the game at Scunthorpe.
His performances earned him a first 'competitive' start - against Swindon in the Carling Cup, and he produced an exciting display which secured the 'Man of the Match' award from the sponsors.
Mendez-Laing has appeared regularly in England junior squads.
At the start of the 2010/11 season he departed for a season-long loan with Peterborough, going straight into the first team as the Posh made a goal-laden start to the campaign.
