Davis's elder brother Dion Scott played professional football for Walsall,
Davis made his senior debut after joining League Two side Darlington on loan in October, 2009, making a total of six appearances for the club.
He joined Walsall on loan in September, 2010, making his Saddlers debut in a 3-2 away defeat to Rochdale.
After seven appearances with the Saddlers, he returned to Wolves and was an unused substitute on five occasions, including the away game at Chelsea.
He then spent the second half of the season with Shrewsbury, notching two goals from 21 appearances and helping the Shrews reach the League Two play-offs, where they were beaten at the semi final stage by Torquay.
