Scott Malone is a Rowley-Regis born left back who progressed through the Wolves Academy.
After signing his first professional contract in February, 2009, Malone immediately departed for a loan spell with Ujpest, a team from the Hungarian First Division with whom Wolves have set up an informal partnership.
It was to prove a valuable experience as the defender regularly turned out in front of crowds of 10,000 or more and also chipped in with a goal as the team finished second in the table.
Malone was named Academy Player of the Year for the 2008/09 season.
In September, 2009, he won his first England-under-19 cap as he started the 2-1 win over Russia at Shrewsbury's ProStar Stadium.
Malone joined Southend on loan in November, 2009, making his senior debut in their game at Tranmere.
All in all he made 17 appearances at Roots Hall before returning to Molineux just before the end of the season.
Malone spent the majority of the 2010/11 campaign on loan at Burton Albion, making 22 appearances and scoring one goal.
He then embarked on another loan at the start of the following campaign, heading to Bournemouth on a deal due to expire on January 7, 2012.
