Sam Vokes joined Wolves from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee shortly after the conclusion of the 2007/08 campaign.
The 18-year-old completed the formalities of a four year deal in a week when he was named in the Welsh senior squad for the first time after playing regularly for the under 21s.
He won his first two senior caps after coming on as a substitute against both Iceland and Holland.
Sam began his first team career with the Cherries in 2006/07 when he made eight starts and six appearances from the bench, scoring four goals. Last season he played in 43 games, 11 of which were as a substitute, and scored 12 goals.
