In August 2005, Mark Little celebrated his 17th birthday by signing a three year professional contract
The Worcester-born defender was on the fringe of a first team breakthrough, and had made five appearances as an unused substitute, when the 2005/6 season neared its conclusion.
The youngster came into his own during the following campaign, establishing himself as a first team player.
Little's natural position is that of an attacking right-back who enjoys running at the opposition and supplying crosses for the team's front men.
A product of the club's Academy system, he played a major role as the youth side made it through to the last four of the FA Youth Cup in 2004/5.
He has been capped by England at both under 17, 18 and 19 levels and enjoyed loan spells with Northampton Town in both the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons.
Little spent the first three months of the 2009/10 season on loan at Chesterfield, making 14 starts.
