Former Sunderland striker Stephen Elliott signed a three-year contract at Wolves for an undisclosed fee in summer 2007.
The 23-year-old Irish international was first signed by Mick McCarthy when the Wolves boss was in charge at the Stadium of Light. Stephen arrived at the Black Cats from Manchester City for a tribunal-set fee of £125,000 in the summer of 2004.
He went on to score 16 goals in his first season in the North East and won the club's Young Player of the Year title.
Stephen suffered injury setbacks during his time at the Stadium of Light but fought back to make 17 appearances during 2006/07, plus nine from the bench, and scored five goals.
