Midfielder Darren Potter joined Wolves on a season long loan from Liverpool in August 2006. He signed a permanent three and a half year deal in the January window of 2007, for a fee of £250,000 rising to a possible maximum of £525,000
The 21-year-old made his first team debut when coming off the bench in the 1-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, with his first start coming in the Carling Cup tie at Chesterfield four days later.
Darren, who figured 17 times for Liverpool's first team, joined Southampton on loan in the January transfer window of 2006 and made 12 appearances for the Hampshire club.
He won his first senior Irish cap in May 2007.
