Wolves officials are currently in negotiation with Stoke City midfielder Karl Henry who impressed boss Mick McCarthy in Saturday's friendly with Aston Villa.

Wolverhampton born Henry is out of contract at the Britannia Stadium although, as he is under 24 a compensation fee would have to be paid by Wolves if the club were to sign him.

Talks are ongoing and more news on any deal is expected tomorrow (Wednesday).
