Darren Anderton admits to feeling more like his old self at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
And the midfielder was close to restoring Wolves' advantage in the second-half, with a delicate chip that came back off the face of the crossbar with Palace keeper Julian Speroni beaten. Unfortunately Kenny Miller could not put the rebound away to secure the three points.
"To go ahead and concede just before half-time is always frustrating so we're disappointed although I suppose that on the balance of play a draw was a fair result," said Darren. "And you have to remember Crystal Palace were in the Premier League last year.
"Personally, I felt a lot better in myself on Saturday and was able to get myself about a bit more. My fitness felt good so I was quite pleased.
"I thought my chip was in, I was wheeling away so I was a bit disappointed but never mind.
"You never want to think that it's not going to be your day. There was my chance, and Kenny's, as well as one or two others, and with a little bit of luck one of them goes in and you win the game.
"The draws might be frustrating but we have to keep our heads. Maybe we have to look at it a different way in that we're a few games unbeaten now and that's always a good habit, as a team, not to get beaten.
"At the same time we know that with three points for a win we do need to start turning the draws into victories."
