Fixture News

Posted on: Wed 22 Feb 2012

Two of Wolves' remaining Premier League fixtures this season have been selected for television coverage whilst another, the home game with Arsenal, has been moved because of The Gunners' television commitment.

Wolves' away match at Stoke on April 7, will now kick-off at 5.30pm and will be broadcast by ESPN. This could change if the Potters progress in the Europa League, although they would need to get past not only Valencia (they are one down from the home tie) but also their next opponents before it impacted.

The home fixture against Arsenal, scheduled for Easter Monday, April 9, has been put back to Wednesday April 11, kick-off 7.45pm. This game will not be televised but has been moved because of Arsenal's broadcasting commitments on the previous weekend.

Finally, the home game with Manchester City, originally due to take place on Saturday April 21, has been put back a day to Sunday April 22, with a 4pm kick-off for coverage by Sky TV.

Supporters should be aware that the Premier League fixtures for Saturday May 5 are all likely to be rescheduled, probably to Sunday May 6, to avoid a clash with the FA Cup final. This would affect the final home game of the season, against Everton. Further information will be given when available.
