Rose Walley, popular and long-serving Personal Assistant to Wolves' Chief Executive Jez Moxey, is to retire at the end of the season after 12 years at Molineux.
Having previously spent two years at Stoke also working for Jez, Rose has decided it is time to officially 'hang up her boots'.
"Having worked for me for 14 years, with all the pressures that such a wide-ranging role entails, Rose feels that the time is right to enjoy a well-earned retirement with her husband John," said Jez.
"Every single duty she has carried out for the Club has been done with skill and dedication. She will be sadly missed, not just by me, but by everyone who works here at Wolves.
"As I mentioned to staff in breaking the news recently, she has been my "rock at work", and her constant advice, guidance and support has meant she has played a key role in many of the club's successes over the last decade.
"While we will all miss her, both in a professional capacity as a colleague, and personally as a friend, no one can begrudge her this decision and we all hope she will enjoy a long and happy retirement."
Rose added: "It's been an honour and a privilege to work here. There's a real family feeling at the Club and everyone, from top to bottom, shares a passion for Wolves. I know it's going to be a tremendous wrench leaving so many friends behind, especially Jez, but I'll be taking some fantastic memories with me and, of course, I'll continue to "Keep the Faith!"
Wolves are now looking to recruit an experienced Executive PA to the Chief Executive to follow in Rose's footsteps.
