Young Wolves midfielder David Davis has joined Walsall on a month's emergency loan.
The 19-year-old from Smethwick, part of Wolves' Development squad, is poised to pick up some valuable experience while on loan with the League One side.
Davis has impressed for the Development side so far this season, and completed 90 minutes in yesterday's behind-closed-doors friendly victory over Burton Albion.
He enjoyed a loan spell with Darlington in October and November of last year, making five league appearances and one in the FA Cup.
"David has been doing really well in the games he's had with us," said Development Coach Steve Weaver.
"Walsall have got a couple of injury problems and we all feel that with the games they've got coming up, this will be a real benefit for David, for Walsall and also for us.
"It should prove valuable experience for him and push him on that little bit further."
One of the seven Academy graduates who signed professional forms ahead of the 2009/10 campaign, Davis's elder brother Dion Scott made a handful of appearances for Walsall during his own professional career.
Davis has joined up with the Walsall squad and will be hoping to play a part in Saturday's trip to Rochdale.
