Bohemian 0
Wolves 3 (Craddock 6, Fletcher 61, Mujangi Bia 90+2)
Wolves enjoyed a comfortable victory over Bohemian at Dalymount Park with Jody Craddock, Stephen Fletcher and Geoffrey Mujangi Bia all on target in what was a competitive friendly.
There was an early scare for the visitors as Aaron Greene worked a shooting position for himself just inside the area only to fire wastefully over the bar.
Jelle Van Damme and Fletcher, both playing their first game in the club's colours, combined on the left but the Belgian's cross was cleared.
But Wolves moved ahead in the sixth minute as Craddock powered a header home following a corner from Dave Jones.
Andy Keogh wasn't far away with a 25-yard drive as Wolves continued to press and then Jones shot wide after Matt Jarvis had drilled in a low cross.
Ronald Zubar was replaced by Richard Stearman in the 21st minute after the French defender took a knock in clearing from his own area. He looked in a lot of pain but was able to limp from the pitch after treatment.
Bohs almost drew level as the half reached its midway point but Jason Byrne's glancing header from Lee Dixon's cross landed on the roof of the net.
Wayne Hennessey had to get his body behind a well struck effort from Matt Doherty before Jarvis beat two men in the Bohs box and curled a shot inches wide of the far post.
Home keeper Chris O'Connor punched away a Jones shot after Keogh had teed the ball up from a free-kick on the edge of the area.
Then Fletcher showed his skills when he sprinted past two defenders and hit an angled shot that was flew just a foot wide.
Half-Time: Bohemian 0 Wolves 1
Four minutes after the restart Fletcher was denied by a tremendous save from O'Connor who turned over the striker's powerful shot.
The Jones-Craddock corner combination almost worked again but this time a flick header was taken by the keeper on the line.
Then it was the turn of the industrious Kevin Doyle to have a stab at goal but his header following a Jarvis free-kick flashed wide.
Bohs almost drew level on the hour mark but Gary Burke's header was just too high after Dixon had fired in the cross.
Moments later Fletcher opened his account with a fierce effort into the top corner of the net after Jarvis had pulled the ball into his path.
Fletcher almost got a second in the 66th minute but under pressure from Orrin Farrell he only succeeded in diverting Jarvis's driven cross over the bar from point blank range.
After a Doyle shot was cleared off the line by Jason McGuinness, Mick McCarthy made a mass substitution making eight changes.
And two of the new men almost fashioned a third goal with Greg Halford's cross being headed just the wrong side of the post by Sam Vokes.
In stoppage time Mujangi Bia cut in from the left and exchanged passes with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake before drilling home a low shot to complete the scoring.
