Wolves are urging all fans to stay off the pitch during and after Sunday's final game of the season against Sunderland (kick off 4pm).
Boss Mick McCarthy and his players are planning to return to the pitch for the official Player of the Year presentations and to carry out a lap of honour to thank fans for their support over the season.
But if there is any encroachment onto the pitch at any stage, then the players will disappear to the dressing rooms and will not return.
Wolves' Chief Executive Jez Moxey has spoken out against further intrusion onto the pitch after the recent home game versus Blackburn, saying: "The simple message to our fans is please stay off the pitch.
"Some supporters went on to the field of play in our last home game against Blackburn, and indeed at the matches against QPR and away at Barnsley last season, and it should not happen.
"Whilst we understand that fans had something to celebrate on those occasions, there is no room for complacency and we cannot allow it to happen because if it does, we will not be able to allow the players to do their lap of honour.
"Without sounding too heavy-handed, the last home game of the season gives the opportunity to show their appreciation to the fans, so we need supporters to please stay in the stands.
"To be fair to the fans, they have been good in the past when we have issued these requests, but we want them to do so again to give the chairman and manager the chance to say their thanks to them and allow the players, and their families, and the staff to do their lap of honour."
Sunday's fixture versus Sunderland is now a sell-out, and due to the full-capacity crowd fans are urged to arrive early.
