Wolves last met Pompey back in October at Molineux. Portsmouth registered their first win of the Premier League campaign thanks to a below par Wolves performance and a first-half header from Algerian midfielder Hassan Yebda. The last time Wolves played against Portsmouth at Fratton Park was in the 2003/04 season in the top flight. The teams shared the spoils in a goalless draw but Wolves were saved by the woodwork four times during the game.
