Better Late Than Never!
Should Wolves manage to get three points against
Back in September the French-under-21 international was trying to force his way into
But having arrived late for a team meeting prior to the game, Zubar found himself dropped from the bench to the stand where he was nothing more than an interested onlooker as one of the less impressive performances of Wolves' season resulted in a 3-1 defeat.
Seven months on, Zubar has now made 20 Premier League starts on the right hand side of defence, establishing himself in the position in two separate spells having been given the opportunity by the Wolves boss.
How times have changed as Zubar prepares in hope of posting far better memories for tomorrow's Rovers Return.
"I've come a very long way since the last
"It was a bad time for me.
"I was late and ended up being moved from the bench to watch the game - it was my fault.
"But I learned from that about what can happen and nothing was ever said about that again after the punishment.
"At the time I was working hard in training to try and get into the team.
"It was down to me to prove to the gaffer and the staff and the other players that I could play here.
"The gaffer gave me a chance and hopefully I have taken it.
"When you are not playing it is hard but if you stay happy and stay hungry it's better - if you go around not happy because you are not playing it would certainly not help.
"The team is the important thing and we all know that and you have to take the good times with the bad.
"It's a great opportunity here for all of us - there's a great group of lads and everyone wants to play."

That Wolves now find themselves effectively within one win of sealing their top flight status was confirmed by
Zubar admits he was a keen follower of events at the KC Stadium, but that it remains up to Wolves themselves to complete the job.
"I would have watched
"Obviously it was a good result for us but we still need to go on and confirm our safety.
"We still need another three points and need to get another result.
"So
"We didn't play well at
"Maybe we will be trying for revenge!"
Being involved in pressure situations at the top and bottom of league tables heading into the business end of the season is nothing new for the 24-year-old.
He was part of the Marseille squad pipped to the French title last season when despite winning their final game of the season so too did
And earlier, in the 2004/05 campaign Zubar was with
Taking the experience from those sorts of occasions, he believes there's one key factor to increasing the chances of producing the right result: Keeping things as normal as possible!
"It's very important we don't get carried away before the game," he says.
"I don't know what the gaffer is going to say to us before the game but it will probably be telling us to stay in the game again.
"He won't want us going on the pitch and trying to go at it right from the start and get carried away by the atmosphere.
"It will all be about being solid and trying to keep another clean sheet and just carry on doing what we've been doing that has got us good results.
"Yes we've got to enjoy the game and enjoy the day but we've got to play our normal game and stay in it.
"That's what we've worked on in training and in the recent games and that's what we've got to do tomorrow.
"Don't change anything - carry on working for yourself and your team-mates and try and get the goals to win us the match.
"If we do that then we can celebrate."

There is of course likely to be a lively atmosphere around Molineux on Saturday with another sellout crowd willing Wolves on to achieve their season's aim.
And while Zubar and company will be trying to keep their football as normal as possible, the Frenchman recognises the difference the Wolves fans have made this season and the need to repay them if at all possible.
"It's been strange because we've played well for the last two months and yet a lot of the good results have come away from home," he added.
"We have had to play some very tough teams at home recently.
"Of course you always want to do well in front of your home fans and we understand that they want to see us play well and get results.
"The fans have been great to us this season and to me individually as well and I love playing in front of them.
"I think the fans have believed in us and have stayed with us whether we have won or lost.
"Everyone had told me how Wolves had got really good fans but it's been better than I could have expected.
"Some of them get really crazy when they get behind the team but that's because they love the club so much.
"It makes us want to give everything on the pitch for the fans and we will be ready to that again tomorrow."
So his Premier League bow has come full circle for Zubar, and he admits he has loved the vast majority of it.
Still though, there remains work to do.
"I'm really enjoying the season and am happy and grateful to everyone here and to my family as well," he adds.
"Now we've just got to go out and try and finish the job over the last three games."
