Wolves were second best when they last played Rovers at Ewood Park back in September as they slumped to a 3-1 defeat against a Blackburn side that had taken just a single point going into the game. The only consolation for the visitors came in the shape of a late goal from debutant Stefan Maierhofer. (Click here for match report)
The last time Mick McCarthy's side faced Rovers at Molineux was in a pre-season friendly ahead of Wolves promotion winning campaign. Wolves won the game 4-2 with goals from George Elokobi, Andy Keogh, Chris Iwelumo and Matt Jarvis.
The last home meeting in the league, however, was on the 7th January 2004. A goal down to Blackburn at the interval, Dave Jones' Wolves side stormed back to take the lead but they had to be satisfied with a point after Dwight Yorke headed an equaliser for the Lancashire side 12 minutes from time.
