Mick McCarthy may be well aware of the relegation battle Wolves have on their hands over the remaining ten games of the season.
But the fact he remains firmly concentrated on taking points from Burnley tomorrow meant he was heading into the match under the mistaken assumption Wolves were back in the bottom three!
Mick was at Turf Moor on Wednesday night watching tomorrow's hosts draw with Stoke and drove back down the M6 believing their point had taken them above Wolves in the table.
Already a relaxed figure at yesterday's pre-match press conference, the news that Wolves weren't actually back in the drop zone gave him added reason to be cheerful ahead of such a crucial game.
"I thought we had dropped in to the bottom three after Wednesday," he said.

"I was looking forward to the fight to get out!
"That tells you how much I look at the league table, I thought we were below Burnley.
"All of a sudden things look a lot better for me!
"We are already a point better off than we I started talking because we are not in the bottom three! I might have a sweet cup of tea later to celebrate!"
The boss's cool head off the pitch belies a fierce determination to mastermind a positive result on it, as too the relaxed air around the training ground this week masks the players' determination to return with a point or points tomorrow.
"I am still confident we can stay up - I have never doubted or wavered on that at all," he said.
"And what is the point with me getting all agitated about it?
"I've a group of good young players who I know will scrap until the very end.
"And they are actually playing very well, because despite results performances have been terrific.
"Don't think I am not concerned about it.
"Or that every minute of the day I am thinking 'can I do something different, better or change it'.
"But I am not getting upset about it.
"You see me on the sidelines, I kick every single ball.
"I am involved in it on a Saturday but me getting agitated now and upset with everybody is not going to make a blind bit of difference to it.
"When I was younger I was more agitated but I learnt a long time ago that it does you no favours - it's counter productive.
"If it all affects me then it affects other people doing their jobs.
"It's not an act with me, what you see is what you get and whatever emotions are there come out.
"I have reason to be calm because we are playing well and having good players around you certainly helps.
"If I thought we were going to go down I might be more agitated and anxious but I don't think we are.
"I'm not giving it the big bravado, I just think we will get more points than three others."
The boss has no fresh injury worries ahead of tomorrow's game, and while not considering Dave Edwards for selection is hopeful he is not too far away after returning to training this week.
