Wolves striker Andy Keogh's return to fitness has been welcomed by his team-mates who believe the Irish frontman could play a key role between now and the end of the season.
Keogh, who came off the bench in the latter stages of Saturday's defeat at Bolton, played the full 90 minutes for the reserves at Telford last night as he looks to build up match sharpness ahead of the crucial run-in.
"Andy can definitely be a key player for us because he can play a number of positions in the front three or four," said skipper Karl Henry.
"So it was good to see him back and hopefully he can chip in with a few goals between now and the end of the season.
"It was disappointing when he got injured because he brings a lot to the table so it's good to see him back now.
"Hopefully he can help us stay in this league."
"It was good to see him back because he's a quality player on the ball," added David Jones.
"Hopefully he can get his fitness up quickly so he can feature a bit more between now and the end of the season.
"He's very fit and he could be important in this formation - he can play a variety of roles across the system so he's a player we can make the most of playing this way."
And Stephen Ward is also hoping to link up with his compatriot after both of them have missed each other through injury for much of the season.
"I'm delighted to see Andy back," he said.
"It's been strange because I was injured just after the start of the season when he was in the team, then he got injured when I came back so we haven't really had a good chance to train or play together this season."
