Adlene Guedioura believes Wolves' result with Chelsea could have been so different had Petr Cech not denied him a first goal in English football shortly after the interval.
But in clawing away the Frenchman's fierce volley, and then saving equally impressively from Kevin Foley shortly afterwards, Chelsea's world-renowned keeper paved the way for Didier Drogba to notch a decisive second goal and leave Wolves with nothing to show for their afternoon's efforts.
"Sometimes in matches things happen which change a match and I think that was the case with my shot," he says.
"If Petr Cech hadn't made the save then the match could have been much different.
"Chelsea are one of the best teams in the world with some of the best players and internationals.
"We knew that it was going to be a difficult game but we did what we could to try and get a result so it was disappointing.
"I felt good to come through 90 minutes in a difficult game but not so happy that we didn't get the result.
"Football in the Premier League is certainly faster and more physical and of a better standard that the Belgian league.
"I feel I've done ok so far and have settled in well because the manager and coaches have given me confidence and made it easy to fit in with my team-mates."
Next up of course is one of those proverbial six-pointers, at a Bolton team a point and two places below Wolves ahead of their FA Cup replay at Spurs tomorrow.
"Saturday is going to be a very important match," adds Guedioura.
"It's a chance for us to move four points ahead of Bolton if we could win the game.
"It will be an important game as to trying to stay in the Premier League and so hopefully we can win.
"Wolves have done well away from home this season so hopefully we can keep that going.
"I think with the help of the fans we can stay in the Premier League.
"The team have shown they have the quality to be able to stay in the division and we will do everything we can to make it happen."
