Six days on, and Kevin Foley remains mightily impressed with the goal which sunk Tottenham and specifically David Jones' role in it.
Now he just wants to provide a goal of his own!
Foley has provided Wolves with a solid and dependable presence on the right hand side of the front three as the team have taken five points from four games, a tally which could have been higher still had they hung on at Birmingham.
He has also had chances to score himself, notably at Hull and Birmingham, and is keen to start converting those chances into goals.
"The goal we scored is one that if Arsenal had scored everyone would have been talking about it ever since," he says.
"It wasn't until half time when someone mentioned how many passes it had been that we all realised what a good goal it was.
"Sometimes when you're playing you don't really see it but when we had the chance to watch it back we could see what a good goal it was.
"Dave Jones was at the heart of most of it and then played the ball wide and made a great run into the box to get on the end of Jarvo's cross.
"It was a great technical goal and got the finish it deserved.
"From my point of view I've been quite disappointed not to score because if you're going to play that far up the pitch you need to chip in with a goal or two.
"I've come close quite a few times and hopefully aren't that far away from adding to the goal tally.
"We need goals to come from all over the pitch especially when playing with Doyler as the lone striker.
"I had a chance against Hull and then one of them against Birmingham I almost caught it too well and it seemed to just hit Joe Hart on his hand.
"That's football though, you have to take your chances when they come along and make the most of it.
"I'm still enjoying playing in the position and trying to help out Doyler as much as possible and keeping the midfield solid as well.
"It's been about making it hard for teams to get through us like we did for Spurs last week."
The free weekend of fixtures allowed Wolves to continue reflecting on the impressive win against Spurs, a result Foley admits was particularly welcome given the spell without a league win.
He added: "We needed that result against Tottenham, especially after how devastated we'd all been after Birmingham.
"We reacted well and after putting in some decent performances without getting the rewards we finally got the win we wanted against Spurs.
"It's another three points on the board which we really needed."
