PRE-MATCH BUILD-UP
After the disappointment of being knocked out of the FA Cup by Crystal Palace on Tuesday night, Wolves turn their attention back to the Barclays Premier League this Sunday in a televised local derby at Birmingham City. (Kick-off 1:30pm) Click here to listen to the match on Wolves Player.

Wolves last played Blues in November and a disappointing display against the local rivals saw Wolves slip to a third consecutive defeat and a ninth game without a win following Lee Bowyer's early strike. Blues dominated the opening moments and after the home defence failed to clear its lines, Sebastian Larsson pulled the ball back to the unmarked Bowyer who picked his spot from just outside the area. The last time Wolves met City at St Andrew's was on a cold Monday evening in April last season. It was a below par performance from Mick McCarthy's side and the result cut Wanderers' lead at the top of the Championship to just two points. City played over 50 minutes of the match with ten men after Lee Carsley was sent off for a knee high tackle on Chris Iwelumo that resulted in him being stretchered off. Cameron Jerome netted Blues' opener deep into first half stoppage time and Garry O'Connor intercepted a back header from Christophe Berra, and rounded Wayne Hennessey, to give Alex McLeish's side all three points.
