A late goal from Matt Jarvis was enough to earn Wolves a third round win over Tranmere Rovers leading to a the meeting with Crystal Palace. League One strugglers, Tranmere, made Wolves fight all the way on what was a difficult, rock hard surface; meanwhile, Palace saw off Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough 2-1 to progress in the competition.  (Click here for match report)

Wolves last faced Palace in The Championship at Selhurst Park back in March. In a game that was affected by strong winds and torrential rain, Mick McCarthy's side managed to grind out a deserved win with the help of a penalty.  (Click here for match report)

The previous meeting last season was on a Tuesday night back in September. Wolves made an incredible start to the match, in front of the Molineux crowd, with a superb move ending in a goal from Ebanks-Blake within 20 seconds of the kick-off. Wolves were pegged back by a resolute Palace side and Paul Ifill took advantage of a mistake at the back, just after the half hour mark, to pull Neil Warnock's side level. An Andy Keogh header settled the contest around the hour mark to give Wanderers all three points.  (Click here for match report)
