Sylvan was inches off target with a good first half chance in the 2-0 defeat against Wigan, meaning his search for a goal goes on, but Mick insists he won't get disheartened and will just keep working to start hitting the goal trail once again.
"He'll get back on it that's for sure," said Mick.
"The only way you can manage it yourself is to keep going.
"If you let anything get to you and get upset by it you'll get frustrated - it's a case of just keep playing.
"And it will turn around because he's a good player.
"The fans were great to him as they were to the team, they supported us really well."
The boss has also shrugged off any disciplinary concerns, despite Richard Stearman becoming the third Wolves player to be sent off this season and second in three league games.
And he believes the spate of bookings in Saturday's game with
"It got a little bit scrappy with a lot of bookings," he said.
"After the sending off it kind of revs the crowd up, maybe because people think there was an injustice although I think that one was deserved.
"But it's had a huge bearing on it and players do get frustrated.
"Discipline? I think I'm alright at that actually, I don't think I've ever had teams with any real discipline problems.
"Maybe the manner of the game on Saturday and they felt some sort of injustice after the sending off and the goal prompted some frustrations."
