Wolves Women players will be out in force with their buckets before the Wigan game on Saturday, hoping swell the coffers of the women's teams.

Girls' and women's football is part of Wolves Community Trust, and relies on the players paying subs as well as fund-raising activities.

"It's always good to support any teams wearing the Wolves colours and it's great to see the women enjoying their football," said Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards.

"Hopefully our fans coming to the game tomorrow will be able to spare a bit of cash to help them in their efforts."
