ALL THE LATEST FROM OUR SPONSORS

Due to the international fixtures it's been a couple of weeks since Wolves were last in Premier League action.

There were mixed fortunes for those on international duty. Kevin Doyle captained Republic Of Ireland to a 1-0 victory against South Africa and Nenad Milijas scored in Serbia's 1-1 draw with France, taking his country to the brink of qualification for the World Cup.

Stefan Maierhofer's Austria drew 1-1 with Romania, keeping their qualification hopes alive, and new Ecuadorian signing Castillo played a full 90 minutes in the 3-1 win over Bolivia.

Wales were already out of World Cup contention but Wayne Hennessey and Dave Edwards both played in the 3-1 defeat to Russia.

Although no Wolves' players were involved, it was a great win for England on Wednesday and you can back Fabio Capello's men at 13/2 to triumph next year in South Africa.  Can a Wolves player get into the squad?

Hopefully the international duty will work in Wolves' favour by keeping players at full match fitness because the game against Blackburn will be tough.  Blackburn have all the attributes you expect from an Allardyce team - they're quick and strong, thrive on a physical encounter but enjoy playing the ball around too.  Although they're in the bottom three right now, we're sure they won't be in those positions come May.

But what about Wolves? We're confident Kevin Doyle, buoyed by his performance for Republic Of Ireland this week, will get off the mark on Saturday.  Is he worth a punt at 15/2 to score the first goal?

We've said it before, and we'll say it again, that Nenad Milijas is sure to get amongst the goals this season and we have him at 5/1 to score at any point against Blackburn.

Only Mick knows whether new signing Stefan Maierhofer will play a part against Blackburn but his goalscoring pedigree speaks volumes.  Let's hope it translates into goals in the Premier League.  At 3/1 to score on his debut it might be worth a flutter?

Fancy Wolves to win on Saturday?  We have them chalked up at 16/5 to secure the three points in Blackburn and at 17/20 with a goal start.  Or how about an audacious punt on Wolves to win 2-0 at Ewood Park?  We've got that priced up at a juicy 20/1!

Keep coming back to www.sportingbet.com/wolves throughout the season as you'll find a wealth of exclusive news, content and promotions.  There's still time to win the chance to meet Mick McCarthy before the Villa game and we regularly have hard-to-find tickets up for grabs too.  It really is a great destination for Wolves fans.
