Former Manchester City trainee and Maine Road ballboy Wayne Hennessey admits they'll be some good memories flooding back when he heads up the M6 with Wolves this afternoon.
But the confident keeper will have nothing but a positive result on his mind when the third leg of Wolves' Barclays Premier League adventure kicks off at 3pm tomorrow.
Wayne spent several years as a trainee at City, including ballboy duties which was part of life in the club's youth arm, but left to join Wolves Academy at the age of 16.
It's been a fairly meteoric rise through the ranks with club and indeed country ever since, with the 22-year-old now returning to his former haunt as the undisputed Welsh number one.
The ground may have changed as Wolves step out at Eastlands tomorrow, but the name remains the same and even with the millions splashed out on an array of new players Wayne admits the club will always have a place in his heart.
"I was there for maybe four years or so before the Academy and used to travel up from Chester for training," Wayne recalls.
"I was about to go into their Academy but Kaspar Schmeichel got offered a three year professional contract and I only got one so I left.
"It was disappointing at the time but I came to Wolves instead and ever since it's gone really well - I couldn't have wished for any more either for club or country.
"There are still players there like Stephen Ireland, Nedum Onouha and Micah Richards who I was there with and one of my best mates is Ishmael Miller, who's moved on to West Brom.
"I've still got a soft spot for Man City and some good memories but it would probably have been more interesting for me if we'd been going back to Maine Road.
"I never played there but I used to be a ball boy there as part of the youth set-up.
"So of course I've got good memories but I'm going back there with the Wolves badge on and have got to mean business.
"The memories will come back but we are going there to try and get a result."
There may be a huge test in store for Wolves tomorrow afternoon but they certainly head there in optimistic mood after the events of Tuesday night.
A 1-0 win at Wigan, and first top flight clean sheet for the man who started his league career with nine on the spin for Stockport, was the perfect antidote to the opening day defeat at the hands of West Ham.

"It was a fantastic team effort at Wigan," Wayne adds.
"All the lads put so much hard work into it and we managed to come away with a victory and a clean sheet so I was buzzing.
"It was even better in that we'd put in a good performance against West Ham without get anything from the game.
"The lads have been playing really well so far and it's just a case of trying to keep that going and picking up as many results as we can.
"We all know we've got the players to win games in the Premier League.
"We've had a few injuries over the first couple of games but people have stepped in and done really well.
"I've been pleased with my own performances and have been feeling really good."
Adebayor, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Robinho, Wright-Phillips, Bellamy - the sort of striking array now within the Manchester City squad is almost frightening such has been their recent spending spree.
But Wayne believes Wolves will head into the challenge "excited" rather than "nervous", and simply relishing aiming to turn the tables on their now illustrious hosts.
He explained: "I could be in for a busy afternoon but the way we've been playing why can't we go and try and bit of pressure on them?
"Obviously they've got some great players and it's a home game for them but it's up to us to do what we can and try and come away with something.
"A lot of people will be thinking that Man City will be able to roll us over but in a way we've got nothing to lose and can just go out there and give it our best.
"They have brought in some fantastic players and will also have fantastic players on the bench.
"But we've got to go out and play our normal game.
"We won't be nervous, we'll be excited more than anything, and just have to concentrate on ourselves.
"It will be tough but coming up against these sorts of players is why we were so keen to get promoted - I'm looking forward to it."
